Protein Banana Bread Trifle
In the dynamic arena of sports nutrition, we recognize the need for a balanced diet that caters to our active lifestyles. So, we're excited to share with you another great recipe from the incredibly gifted Hayley (formerly @thecleantreatlady).
Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just someone who enjoys hitting the gym, this recipe strikes the perfect chord between flavour and functionality. It's not just about satisfying your sweet tooth; it's about providing your body with the nutrients it craves.
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 thick slice banana bread
• 1 banana yoghurt by YoPRO
• 1 serving of ALTERED NUTRITION 100% WPI (any flavour!)
• 1/3 of a banana
METHOD:
- In a small bowl, combine your protein with a dash of water and stir it until it becomes a syrup-like consistency.
- Dice up your slice of banana bread.
- Now layer your trifle! (I did two layers... beginning with half the banana bread, half the yogurt, half the protein drizzle and repeat!)
- Top with a cube of banana bread and banana 🤤
